stoop sales, general stores and strange liquors...
When I ventured forth to see what I could see (and scavenge for food) - my first stop was Pumpkin's, where I found my organic tomatoes and fruit.
Then on the way to AND from C-Town Town for the rest of my groceries, I stumbled across these treasures: a vintage Ronson "Twentycase" cigarette case & lighter, $12. Silver pool cue chalk holders, 25 cents each. If they really are silver, I can sell them for $30-40 apiece on ebay. Yeow! Found on street: tapestry of unknown ethnic origin - my new curtain!
Sat on the fire escape for a little bit to contemplate dinner menus and the lovely pansies Deb has out there... and I looked down.
Then it was off to meet Hanna for dinner at Tacos Nuevo Mexico on 5th Ave at 11th street, and I finally got my first taste of pulque!
zzzzzzzzzzzz....
