NANO wrap up

Ok folks, so I only hit 5,340 out of 50K goal. Still, that's 1/10th of a novel and about 5300 words more fiction than I usually write in a year! So hats off to me! I came in first amongst my 3 participant friends, I brag.

So the 2005 Nano Non-novelist awards go to:
Gold: Kelly for 5,340 words
Silver: Leigh for 1,226 words
Bronze: Jeff for 1,167 words

It was an interesting exercise in procrastination. Setting out to write a novel on top of a day job, boyfriend and full social calendar triggered my avoidance mechanism so deftly that I pitched all kinds of articles and ended up doing an iPod gadget round up for the Sun.
